Who May Use the Library?
All Snow College affiliates: students, administrators, staff, faculty. Community members of the six county area (Juab, Millard, Sevier, Wayne, Piute, and Sanpete) may obtain a library card.

Music/Recorded books CDs: 3 Weeks
DVDs  1 Week
Digital Video Cameras and recording devices: 3 Days (Not Available at Richfield)
Items can be renewed by phone or online. To renew online click on the “renew materials” link on the Library’s home page: www.lib.snow.edu

Items Checked Out
A maximum of 20 items may be checked out at any given time in any combination by Snow College affilliates. Community patrons are allowed ten items in any combination.

Books  $ .25 per item/per day.
DVDs  $.25 per item/per day.
CDs $.25 per item/per day.
Video and Digital Cameras $1.00 per item/per day.

Fees for Lost or Damaged Items The book replacement fee is a minimum of $35.00 and media items have a minimum replacement fee of $30.00 each. The library reserves the right to assess a higher fee based on actual item value. Fees for all other items and damaged equipment will be considered on a case by case basis.

Copying and Equipment The following self-service items are available to students and faculty for academic  purposes:

2 microform reader/printers
1 video camera (student use only)
3 digital cameras (student use only)

2 scanners
1 overhead projector

Reserve Items Physical items on reserve are located behind the front desk and are typically available for a two hour check-out.

Ephraim Study Rooms are located throughout the building and are available on a first come first serve basis. Media study rooms are available on the lower level.

Richfield Study Rooms There are three that can be reserved by calling the front desk (893-2219). If there is no reservation the rooms are available on a first come first served basis.

Conference Room in Ephraim is located on the Main floor of the library, this room is available generally for larger group study sessions, clubs and occasional class meetings.  Reserve this room by calling 283-7363 or at the front desk of the library. Reservations may be made during the semester or term and no more than one month before the semester.

Training Room The computer classroom is located on the Lower Level of the library and is used primarily for library instruction. It may also be used by campus departments for computer instruction of staff or students. Reservations: 283-7363 or at the front desk of the library.

Special Collections The Special Collections include materials relating to Snow College, local history, and Utah history. Items are available by request at the Circulation Desk.

Ephraim's Learning commons is located on the Lower Level. 40 computer stations offering Internet, school related software, and access to printing. Nine more powerful comptuers are also available for more demanding projects including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creativity Suite Master Collection version 5.

Richfield's Open Computer Lab has 30 computer stations offering Internet, school related software, and access to printing.

Food and Drink are allowed in the library every where except at computer stations.
